McNeil Hinson, Jr.

Mr. McNeil “Neil” Hinson, Jr.  was born in Bladen County on March 11, 1962 and was the son of the late McNeil Hinson Sr. and Mary Little Hinson. He was preceded in death by a brothers Cecil Britt and Jimmy Hinson . He worked in the logging woods all of his adult life and took pleasure in fishing, repairing auto-motives, and spending time with family and friends. Sometime in the late 80’s, he relocated to Colleton County. He was married to Vicky Dianne Martin for some time and they settled in the Doctors Creek area of Colleton County. He developed lifelong relationships with her children and their children whom he adored and took as his children and grandchildren. 

He is survived by 1 daughter, Alisa Michelle, 2 stepsons Daniel and Chris (Ashly) Mock Sr. 11 grandchildren-Jennifer, Nicholas, Jordan, Brittany, Thomas, Jonathan Tyler Mock, Landon, Chris Jr.,  Jonathan Terry Mock, Lauryn, and Ashton. 1 great grandson, Sebastian and 3 special friends who took him as family, Mike Godwin, Ivan Williams, and Talika Green.
