Mr. Marvin Spell, Jr. was born on August 4, 1962, to the late Marvin Spell, Sr. and Elizabeth Gilliam in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He traded time for his heavenly eternity on August 6, 2024. Marvin was a graduate of North Division High School, Class of 1980. Marvin worked in the construction field with a variety of companies.
Marvin married the love of his life Iris Elizabeth Akins Spell on February 21, 1990, and this union was blessed with six loving children.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Iris Spell; six children, Eric (Destiny) Akins of Yemassee, SC, Shannon Deloach of Ridgeland, SC, Tyric Deloach of Ridgeland, SC, Marvin Spell III (Patrice) of St Louis, Missouri, Breyone Spell of Fayetteville, NC and Marcus Spell of Yemassee, SC; 12 grandchildren; Chelesa, Lyric, Zoey, Zaiden, Ava, Tori, Emerson, Zavier, Bruce, Laquane, Naiyanah and DeShawn; one daughter in law, Chardea Spell; one brother, James (Courtney) Spell of Summerville, SC; three sisters, Marlene (Edwin) Butts of Cincinnati, Ohio, Monique (Davarius) Booker, of Virginia and Lena Gant of Walterboro, SC; sister in laws, Crystal (Channing) Williams of Yemassee, SC, Robin Akins of Mt Dora, FL, Sabrina (Wendell) Richardson of Washington and Charity Terry of Round O, SC; brother-in-law, Jesse (Joyce) Terry of Manassas, VA; eight godchildren, Tameko Fishburne Varner, Tytiana Williams, KaMiyah Williams, Donya Jones, Melacci Terry,Malik Terry, Micah Jackson, Zion Lott, and Antuan Griffin and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
