Linda Washington Huggins was born on October 16, 1954, in Yemassee, SC daughter of late Henry and Sarah Washington.
She attended public school and graduated from Colleton High School in 1973. She devoted 28 years of service to the Chart House in Savannah, GA. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Bobby Lucas Huggins on October 8, 1976.
As a woman of strong faith, Linda accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and was baptized into Christian fellowship, under the pastorate of Rev. Minnie C. Chisholm.
On April 15, 2026, God called her home to take her eternal rest.
Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Huggins; sister, Lillie Mae Johnson and brothers, James Manigult and Stanley Washington.
Brothers/sister in-laws who preceded her in death: Haskell Huggins, Herman Huggins, Marion Huggins, Lawrence Huggins, Elizabeth Huggins Priest and Eleanor Huggins.
Her beautiful spirit will remain with us for eternity and cherished memories will forever be embraced by her children, Albert Huggins (Jennifer) Lawton, Oklahoma, Bobby Huggins Jr (Gianna) Ruffin, SC, Antonio Huggins (Dr. Kendra Sarratt) Bowie, Maryland, and Alisa Hill (Robert) Walterboro, SC.
She is also survived by her loving siblings, Robert Manigo (Betty) East Orange, NJ, Henry Washington (Albertha) Yemassee, SC, Vergie Chafiki (Said) Hardeeville, SC, Theresa Lang (Mario) Pooler, GA; Sister-in-law, Jeanette Washington, Walterboro, SC and one niece raised as a sister, Deangela Delaney, Lexington, SC.
Brothers and sisters-in-law: Anderson Huggins (Eva) Whitehall, SC, Jake Huggins (Patricia) Charleston, SC, Deloris Mack (Leonard) Walterboro, SC, Nancy Nelson, Brooklyn, NY.
9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends to include 2 special childhood friends Rosalee Logan and Lena White.
