Laura Ann Kelly was born January 5,1963 in Colleton County, South Carolina, born to her parents Mary and Matthew Kelly. Laura Ann received her early education in the public schools of Colleton County. She was affectionately known as “Laura Ann or Sue Lue” to her family and friends.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age and became a member of Faith and Action Ministries in Walterboro, SC under the leadership of Pastor Ollie White.
Mrs. Laura Ann Kelly was a devoted Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Granny. She was known for her warm spirit and inviting personality. She served as a home health worker for many years. Laura Ann was the permanent caretaker of her family; she was the type of person that showed love and care no matter what type of encounter she had with a person. She was so open and full of love and made sure everything and everybody that was in her presence was well taken care of. She made sure that she showed her Greatest love for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ no matter who was watching.
On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the Colleton County Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Laura Ann answered the call of a wise and loving God, and entered a peaceful, eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephon Bliss Lamont Kelly; brothers, Charles Kelly and Mathew Kelly, Jr (Petey) and sister May Aline Barnes.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Ronald (Treasure) Kelly and Ronald Frost; grandchildren, Shaterian Kelly, Rihanna Kelly, Treymone Scott, Dorinasia, Kelly, Jaden Kelly, Ca’Mya Kelly, and Matthew Jones; sister, Grace Kelly, Victoria Kelly, Glenda Kelly, Rebbecca Kelly, and Johnnie Kelly; brothers, Harris Kelly, Donald Kelly, Billy Kelly, Ronald (Shalonda) Kelly, Joseph Kelly, Thomas (Von) Kelly, and Earnest (Patricia)Fishburne; special sister Regina Bailey; Niece/daughter, Sabaar Singleton and a host of Great Grands, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
