Keyserly S. Middleton, Jr., fondly known as “Junie” or “Lee” changed his address on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, South Carolina. He was born in Beaufort, South Carolina on January 4, 1975, to Keyserly S. Middleton and the late Claire Reed Middleton, Sr.
Keyserly attended Colleton County Schools, graduating from Walterboro High School in 1994.
Over the years, he worked to perfect his passion as a painter. Keyserly has been described as an outstanding drummer, offering his drumming talents to various churches. Also, another side employment was vehicle detailing.
As a young child, Keyserly was raised in the Pentecostal Faith surrounded by his parents and grandparents.
In addition to his mother, Keyserly was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Leon Middleton; maternal grandparents, Calvin and Clara Reed; paternal grandparents, Bishop Isleow and Marie Middleton Bryan, Sr. and John Morrall, Sr.
Surviving loved ones are his father, Keyserly S. Middleton, Sr. (Patricia) of Charleston, SC; children, Shasta Ka-Dedra Middleton, Hasaan Ka’deem Middleton and Faith Shetia Middleton; three grandchildren, Shelia Kelly, Khilee Kelly and Legend Middleton all of Green Pond, SC; maternal grandmother, Ruth Smith; paternal uncles and aunts, William Middleton (Linda) of Charleston, SC; Margie Middleton Mayhue (Charles, Sr.) of Jacksonville, NC; Brenda Middleton Brown (Gregory) of Jacksonville, NC, Richardean Bryan of Charleston, SC, Isleow Bryan, Jr. of Beaufort, SC and Thomasena Bryan of Jacksonville, FL; maternal uncles and aunts, Sylvester Williams (Sonya) of Columbia, SC and Janita Brown of Walterboro, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
