James Henry Joseph Dukes

Mr. James Dukes, son of Monica Simmons and the late James Dukes, was born on July 21, 2006, in Walterboro, South Carolina. James traded time for eternity on May 17, 2025.

James was educated in the public schools of Colleton County. James had an avid love for football.

James attended Faith and Action Ministries as a youth, under the guidance of Apostle Ollie M. White. He participated in various youth events and sang in the youth choir.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Dukes, and his brother, Calvin Fishburne.

James leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Monica Simmons; his siblings, Jennifer Pinckney, Cintara Ancrum, Jennifer Ancrum, Quinton Simmons, and Jermaine Fishburne; his nephew, Amari’e Getzen; his aunts, Gwendolyn Taylor, Shirley Ann Jones, and Wanda Johnson; his uncle, Rev. Larry Winfield (Rev. Sandra); and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
