Harvell Rochester Breland better known as “JB” was born in Walterboro, South Carolina on April 2, 1975, and with heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our beloved son, father, brother and grandfather on May 18, 2024.
“JB” was a jack of all trades, he was filled with kindness, compassion and wisdom, throughout his life. He touched the hearts of many with his infectious laughter, unwavering support and boundless love. “JB” was known for his many jokes and fascinating stories. He had a close relationship with his children and despite life's challenges, he faced them with courage and resilience, teaching them the true meaning of strength.
He attended public school in Colleton County, “JB” joined Sandhill Baptist Church at a young age. He worked at 48forty Solutions for 13 years. He was a faithful hard worker and worked every day before moving to Tennessee.
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Harvell Breland, Jr (Mary) and Betty Breland of Walterboro, SC; his children, whom he loved unconditionally, Zaria Simmons of Atlanta, Georgia, Justice Breland of Columbia, South Carolina, Jy’re Breland and Genesis Breland, both of Tennessee, and Diamond Breland of Walterboro, SC; the love of his heart, his grandchildren, Skylar, Aubree, Lyric, Serayah, Kyree, Ava Reign, and Nyrobi; his loving siblings, Rhonda L’Hommedieu(Bruce), Dena White, William Aiken, Kierra Breland, Devon Breland and Charles Breland and loving nieces and nephews who he loved as well.
“JB” always had a special love for all his Aunts and Uncles, cousins and friends and his special forever family Alicia Skyllas, Tiffany, Ja’khya and Junior.
