It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Pringle (Brooklyn, NY) who was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished pillar of the community. Frances Pringle transitioned peacefully on February 3, 2026, at the age of 62.
To know her was to love her. Frances Pringle was the definition of kindness, grace, and class. She carried herself like the true Diva, she was—always elegant, always confident, and always leaving an unforgettable impression wherever she went. She had a heart that overflowed with love, and she gave that love freely to everyone around her.
As a pillar of the community, Frances Pringle touched countless lives through her passion for teaching and her commitment to shaping young minds. She didn’t just teach lessons—she taught life. Her students, coworkers, and families will forever remember her for the encouragement she gave, the strength she showed, and the light she brought into every room.
Frances Pringle was respected by all who knew her. She was a woman of style, integrity, and compassion. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and excellence that will continue to live on through her family, her students, and the community she served so faithfully.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Malachi Pringle and mother-in-law, Rosella Pringle.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Ebony Milbry; grandchildren, Daz’maleek Milbry, Zi’kenya Irvin, Jalayah Hall; parents, Victoria Borders-Milbry and Eugene Milbry; stepfather, Thomas Vinson, Jr,: siblings, Tracy Milbry of Baltimore, MD, Gina Nesbitt of Greenville, SC, Germain Vinson of Huntsville, AL and Jahnitta Lovejoy of Beaufort, SC; Step-children, Kwame Moultrie(Natasha), Bryan Glover, Yalunder Glover and Darius Mathews(Shonda); bonus children, Sena Walker, Katina Farmer, Muriel Walker, Shirley Wilson, Derrick Wilson and Freeman Wilson; bonus sisters, Harriett Hampton, Berntha Wilson and Renee Sims; cousin, Freda McCray-Fuller; loving maternal aunt, Mary L Milbry-McCray and friend, Ruby Murray.
Though our hearts are broken, we are comforted knowing that her spirit will live forever in the memories we hold close and the love she poured into so many lives.
