Elder Marcia Ann (Brazzell) Jones

Respectfully, we honor the legacy of life for, Elder Marcia Ann Jones. Marcia Brazzell Jones was born February 15, 1952 in Eustis, Florida to the late Reverend James Brazzell and the late Loreen Murphy Francis. Marcia is survived by her husband Lloyd and five loving children Monica, Wandra, David, Kelley and Christopher. In 1981 she started her career in reservations at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Orlando, Florida where she met, Lloyd, her lifelong partner. She received multiple accommodations during twenty two years of excellent service. After leaving the Hyatt in 2003 she relocated to South Carolina where she attended Denmark Technical College and earned an Associate’s degree in Applied Science dated May 2015. She was a faithful member of Allen Chapel AME located in Beaufort, SC. In 2015, Marcia received her calling to become God’s messenger. From there, she began her pastoral training where she attained the title of local Elder on September 20, 2019. Marcia worked as a substitute teacher where she molded young minds and prepared tomorrow’s leaders for life’s challenges. She loved spending time with her family especially during the holidays. She had an amazing sense of humor, loved telling jokes, loved laughing and she had a passion for collecting dolls.

Reverend Jones is proceeded in death by her brother Ronald and sister Donna.

Reverend Jones leaves behind her siblings Vivian, Rosalind, Althea, Kai, Betty, Philip, and Andre. She also leaves behind two daughter-in-law’s Ivelisse and LaToya, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
