Mr. Donald Brown was born on February 8, 1966, in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Mr. Eleba Brown and Mrs. Orrie Bell Sanders Brown. Donald transitioned from earthly shores on July 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Donald was educated in the public schools of Colleton County and graduated Ruffin High School in Ruffin, South Carolina.
At an early age Donald joined Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hampton, South Carolina and attended as a member for many years. He worked as a lumber jack in logging and loader operator until his health started to fail. Donald loved to attend church and gospel singing programs. Donald possessed a love for drag racing, fishing and family gatherings. Donald was also an exceptionally wonderful cook.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Donald leaves to cherish his memories, three children; Alketia Griffin, De’angelo Green and Kristian Gaddist all of South Carolina; three bonus children, Elwin Edwards, Selwyn Edwards and Tambria Ramona Edwards all of Reevesville, South Carolina; faithful grandmother, Daisy Mary Sanders of Fayetteville, North Carolina; sister, Rosalie Brown of Walterboro, South Carolina; a live in companion, Tammy Harrison; seven grandchildren, Kalasia Griffin, Morgan Davis, Melanie Campbell, Chance Griffin, Marcus Morgan, Logan Gaddist, and Khiya Jenaivia Green; one great grandchild, Onxy Shular; three aunts, Jacquline Bouvien Williams of Brooklyn, New York, Theresa Scott of Brooklyn, New York and Loise (Jimmy) Stephens of Smoaks, South Carolina; two uncles Monroe Brown of Smoaks, South Carolina and Author Scott of Brooklyn, New York; four special cousins, Karen Scott, Theresa Daniels, Krystal Daniels, Scott Charles Helton, 21 nieces, 12 nephews and many other family members and friends.
