If when you give the best of your service, telling the world that the Savior has come, be not dismayed when men don’t believe you, He’ll understand and say well done.
Mr. Ramone LaKeith Watson, was born in Charleston County on April 12, 1994, to LaKesha Hicks and Vergeast Watson. He was raised and lived most of his life in Adams Run, SC. He attended the public schools of Charleston County and graduated with the class of 2013 from the Mighty Baptist Hill High School. Ramone was the oldest of the bunch and he was the quietest! His love for his siblings were unmatched but Samone and her children held the keys to his heart! Ramone accepted Christ in his life at an early age and joined Mt. Nebo AME Church where he was baptized under the leadership of Rev. Curtis Fludd. As Ramone got older, he relocated to the Charleston Area and joined The Resurrected Ark House of Peace under the profound leadership of the Apostle Dr. Marilyn Brown. Under her leadership, Ramone earned the title of Deacon where he served his position well. Ramone was faithful and dedicated to the prayer line. Ramone battled his sickness all his life and never once lost the faith and thank God for everything even in pain. Ramone took care of himself until the end relying on the many things that he prayed for. Ramone was fruitful in his walk with God, and he knew that his life was unique to him and only God could give him the strength to walk his road. In his times spent with God, Ramone often sung a few of his favorite songs; “Get Right With God and Do It Now”, “One More Time, He Allowed Us To Come Together” & “Jesus Gave me Water And It Was Not From The Well.” Within the last five months, God, saw Ramone getting tired and weak. His unwavering spirit continued to persevere in his life. He continued his course to include going to dialysis 3 times per week and still finding a way to say thank you. God heard all of his prayers and decided to come back for his own. Ramone was ready because he knew that one day he was going to be healed from his sickness and on Thursday May 29, 2025, God gave him the perfect field goal kick and he won the game.
Ramone was proceeded in death by his grandfather Leroy Dent Jr.; His Grandmother Linda Watson; Great-Grandmother Evelyn Watson; Niece Callie Jenkins; & Best Friend Keenan Mitchell.
Ramone leaves to cherish his great memories: Parents, LaKesha Hicks, & Vergeast Watson (Dana); Siblings – Carolyn Denmark-Jenkins (Jamal), Thomas Denmark V, Lakelia Watson, Marcus Breland & Zoey Watson; Grandmother – Carolyn Dent; Grandfather – Eddie Manigault; Nephews – Zion Nelson, Cashton Jenkins, Tylan Denmark & Mason Denmark; Niece – Makenzie McKelvey; Aunts – Angela Washington, Tiffani Dent & Kendra Watson; Cousins; Natalie Foxx, Richard Cox III, Michael Washington, Jarrell Washington, Kameron Maxwell & Ryon Dent; DCI family and a host of other relatives and friends.
