In profound sorrow we announce the earthly transition of Mr. David Williams, Jr. 69, of Cottageville, South Carolina. A loving son, father, brother, uncle, and much more to those who knew him, his memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of his loving family.
During the late-night hours of Wednesday, January 10, 2024, a dear father, son, brother and uncle, traded his time on earth. Mr. David Williams Jr., 69, of the Burr Hill Community of Cottageville, South Carolina, was a man known for his kindness and willingness to help anyone in need.
Mr. David “Fastman” Williams, Jr., was born on November 22, 1954, in Cottageville, South Carolina to Etta R. Williams and the late David Williams, Sr. He was a skilled concrete finisher for various companies in Washington, DC, until he moved back to South Carolina and worked for Salley Concrete Finshing until his health declined.
On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, David departed this earthly life. He was preceded in death by his father, David Williams, Sr., brother, Randolph Williams, Sr., and his sister, Betty Ann Williams, and nephew Randolph Williams, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories a daughter, Teaundra L. Williams-Womack (William) of Virginia; four grandchildren, Taylah Womack-Williams, William, Tiah and Westyn Womack; mother, Etta R. Williams of Cottageville, SC; two sisters, Jannette C. Green of Cottageville, SC and Aguster A. Williams of Washington, DC; aunt, Mattie Martino of Summerville, SC; uncle, Michael Williams of Summerville, SC; brother-in-law, Albert J. Williams of Walterboro, SC; three nephews that were like sons, Solomon T. Green (Chaquilla), Derrick D. Green, Sr. (Julia), and Todd A. Bodison(Christine); one niece that was like a daughter, Malekia N. (Monique) Williams; two grand nieces that he adored, Madison and Jade Bodison; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
