Clarence Anthony Bellinger known as “Tony” of 298 Monticello Lane, transitioned into eternal rest on December 27, 2023, at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina He was born to Levi Bellinger, Sr., and Jane A. Haynes-Bellinger on November 27, 1954. He grew up in the Mt. Zion AME Church, Round-O, South Carolina.
Clarence worked in construction until his health failed at Quality Concrete and Unique Concrete of Cottageville, South Carolina. Clarence had a love for cars. He had a special love for Chevy Nova’s.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi Bellinger, Sr. and Jane A. Haynes-Bellinger; siblings, Corrine Bellinger-Johnson, John L. Bellinger, Levi Bellinger, Jr., and Ernest Bellinger.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two children, Dr. William L. (Taneeka) Moore of Columbia, South Carolina, and Michelle (Wil) Hollington of Walterboro, South Carolina; two granddaughters, Sade Hollington, Diamond Hollington; one grandson, William Isaih Moore and one great grandson, Roman Rutledge; one sister, Clara M. Cochran; one special niece, Diane Bellinger; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
The family invites the community to celebrate Clarence in a community fish fry, which will be held on Friday December 29, 2023 at the hour of 7:00 PM convening at The Grove, 428 Wesley Grove Rd, Cottageville, South Carolina.
