Chad Laron Mitchell

Chad Laron Mithcell, affectionately known as “Bald Head Geek” was born on December 11, 1983, in Walterboro, South Carolina.  Chad transitioned from mortality to immortality on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the age of 41 years old.  Chad was the baby boy of Mr. Charles and Mrs. Lillie Mae Mitchell.

Chad attended school in Colleton County, South Carolina and he graduated from Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, Kentucky.  He was self-employed as an Owner Operator with Wall Street Systems.

Chad had a loving, forgiving, humble spirit, and to know Chad was to know love.  Chad would give his last if he thought you needed it.  He was a bountiful provider.  Chad was an avid fisherman, reptile enthusiast, gun collector, ATV rider, and bulldogger.  On any given day, you could find Chad either in his truck, going to work, or in the back yard with his dogs.  Chad was loyal and solid to the core.  The greatest father, husband, provider and friend.  He had a strong love for family, and daily conversations with the crew, nephew and partner in crime, could last for hours. 

Chad was preceded in death by his brothers, Abraham Kenneth Mitchell and Michael Dantzler.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted wife, Virginia (Ginni) Mitchell; four beautiful children, Jayden, Chadsity and Lillian Mitchell all of Walterboro, SC and India Bryant of Florence, SC; a loving parents, Charles N. and Lillie Mae Mitchell of Walterboro, SC; mother and father-in-law, Eddie and Kathy Keeling (Nana) of Cottageville, SC ; sisters, Maria (Stephen) Harlen of North Charleston, SC, Janet Dantzler Goings of Charleston, SC, Pamela Roach of Walterboro, SC; brothers, Derrick (Yolanda) Mitchell of Walterboro, SC; Stacey (Sophie Lee) Mitchell of Clearwater, FL; Ronald (Brigitte) Mitchell of Port Hueneme, CA; Frederick (Tiffany) Dantzler of Walterboro, SC and Anthony Dantzler of Spartanburg, SC; sisters-in-law, Sherry (Larry) Broughton and Shannon (Jerry) Smalls; brother-in-law, Gary (Min) Strickland; three nephews whom he raised like sons, Rodriguez Frasier, Jr., Javen Manigo and Breadon Massalon; a nephew who was more like a brother, Antwan Giffin; best friend, Lewis McLauren; partner in crime, Aleshia Kittrell; his “crew” Travis (Bobalouski) Smalls, Randall (Gucci) Moultrie and Cameron Byas and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues.
