HIS LIFE AND LEGACY

Bobby Alexander Miley, affectionately known to many as Bob, was born December 13, 1971, in Walterboro, SC. The son of the late Mr. Ransom Moore, Mrs. Sara Bouges Miley and the late Mr. Buster Miley Sr. He departed this life peacefully on Friday May 23rd, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Bob received his formal education in Colleton County and was a proud graduate of the Walterboro High School Class of 1990.

Bob was no stranger to hard work. He worked diligently throughout his life and was a first-rate electrician. His last place of employment was with Scout Boats in Summerville, SC where he worked as a Rigger.

Bob found love and on August 12, 2011, married his love, Mary Beth Johnson.

Bob lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, cooking, chatting with friends and family, and fishing/crabbing. Most of all he loved being among family, especially his grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Ransom Moore, aka Randy, and his stepfather Buster Miley Sr.

With all the appointments, treatments, and pain he endured, Bobby remained strong and continued to shower his love and concern on his family.

Bobby is survived by his wife Mary Beth Miley of the home; his mother, Sara Bouges Scriven of Walterboro, SC; His children, Maleek Brown of Walterboro, SC; Alysia Brown (Terrence) of Columbia, SC; Logan Croxton of Linwood, PA; Wesley Beach and Jacob Beach both of Walterboro, SC; His siblings, Wanda Miley of Walterboro, SC, Buster Miley Jr. (Tearitha) of Columbia, SC; Rowland Bernard Morton (Sasha) of Atlanta, Ga; Grandchildren, Karson, Kanoa, Kison, Braxton, Jaxon, and Azaria. Two uncles, Richard Lee Bodison (Charlene) and Willie James Moore of Walterboro, SC; One Grand-uncle, Rev. John Bodison of Miami, Fl.; A very special niece and God-daughter, Ramiah Miley; A special cousin (like a sister), Alyssa Bodison of Walterboro, SC; A God-mother, Bernie Kennedy of Walterboro, SC; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
