Sister Annette Joyner Williams, lovingly known as “Tukie” was born on February 26, 1955, to the late Sadie Fennel Joyner and Walter Joyner, Sr.
Sis. Williams was reared in the Hendersonville Community and received her education in the schools of Colleton County, Beaufort Technical College, Miller-Motte Technical College and Trident Technical College. She retired from Colleton Medical Center as a Behavioral Tech.
She devoted most of her life to taking care of the elderly, taking care of her grandchildren, and a faithful servant and member of St. John COOLJC. She loved praising God and wearing her hats. To know her was to love her, and that she was definitely set in her ways.
During the evening hours of Friday, September 6, 2024, Sis. Williams entered eternal rest.
Preceding her in death along her mother and father, one brother, Walter Joyner, Jr., two sisters Fernadine Joyner and Leslie Joyner Frazier, and a beloved nephew she loved as her own, Orinthial Demetric Joyner.
Left to embrace her memories are two daughters, Monsanta Latoya Joyner and Shaunee Nicole Joyner, both of Summerville, SC; two sisters, Margaret (Wayne) Sumpter of Maysville, NC and Menetha Joyner Campbell of Cottageville, SC; six grandchildren, Malasha T. Sanders, Tyliesha E. Ferugson, Emmanuel D. Joyner, Jaylen Joyner, Malachi Sanders IV and Xavier Bazzel; three great grandchildren, Shila M. Drayton, Teagan J. Roberts and Taiwo A. Adefunmi; a bonus daughter, Tasca Crawford King of Columbia, SC; a bonus son, Adonis Riley of Summerville, SC along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
