Ahmere Traeveon Lebrone Johnson “Trey” was born on September 18, 2009, in Walterboro, South Carolina to Ytiffany Edwards of Hendersonville, SC and Solomon Johnson of White Hall, SC.
Ahmere, affectionately known as “Trey” attended the public schools of Colleton County School District. Trey enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes, talking with friends and cutting hair in the community. He was a “Fashion King.” He was very particular about his clothes and shoes. Trey was a gentle, humble, respectful young man. He always had a joke of some sort.
During the evening of Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Ahmere “Trey” gained his wings. He wants us to know that he’s in a better place, don’t cry for him but keep enjoying life and doing what you’ve been doing. God makes no mistake – when you think of me, remember my smile, laugh and jokes.
Those that preceded him in death; great-grand father, Edward Johnson of White Hall, SC and uncles, Kevin Edwards, Eric Washington, Marquay Brown all of Hendersonville, SC.
Trey leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Ytiffany Edwards of Hendersonville, SC; father, Solomon Johnson of White Hall, SC; sister, Karmen Johnson; grandparents, Barbara (Solomon) Green (reared in the home) and Jennifer (Antwan) Hodges; great-grandparents, Nora Lee Johnson and Mary (May) Washington; aunts, Jessica Johnson-Dayton(Josh), Majeedia Johnson, Shaquetta Edwards and Dorinaisia Pinckney (DD); uncle, Daquan Washington; a special friend, Sherlynn Rodriguez, along with a host of aunts, cousins, family, friends and two special cousins Shy India Wilson and Shamiya Wilson.
