Respectfully, we honor the life of Mrs. Kimani Ashley Monique Armstrong, 24, of Walterboro, South Carolina. Mrs. Kimani Ashley Monique Armstrong, was born March 8, 1995 to Ms. Sarah Williams and Mr. Jeffrey Armstrong in Charleston, South Carolina. Kimani was educated through the Colleton County School District, and graduated with the Colleton County High School class of 2013. At an early age she became a member of Soul Saving Refuge Center of Walterboro, South Carolina. At the age of ten, she developed a love for music. Because of her love, in her adulthood, she would sing and even record songs that expressed her love for life.
In 2014, Kimani was united in Holy Matrimony to her love, Mr. David Andrews. This union would be blessed with one loving son, Mr. Corby Andrews, who was the apple of her eye and the reason her every breath. Kimani, affectionately known as “Butter”, was a free spirit. She lived her life as she chose, but her family and friends were her life. To know her was a joy and to love her was a gift all in itself.
On Sunday: September 8, 2019 Kimani departed this earthly life. Her passing has left a void, but her life will leave a multitude of cherished memories and portraits. Preceding her in death are grandparents; Ellis Williams, Jr., Jefferey Armstrong, Sr. and Esther Armstrong; and father in law, Corby Armstrong.
Left to reflect and embrace her life are: husband, David Andrews: beloved son, Corby Andrews: mother, Sarah Williams-Raheem: father, Jeffrey Armstrong, Jr.: mother in law, Traci Smith: grandmother, Reverend Eunice Williams: grandmothers in law, Merle Smith and Evelyn Tate: three sisters, Alexandria Roundtree, Lakiesha Levant and Katrina Williams: three brothers, Jamaal Levant, Jeffrey Armstrong and Christopher (Fina Cruz) Williams: two sisters in law, Destiny Bowen and Barbara Wilkerson: Godparents, Deacon Paul (Isabell) Johnson: along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and multitude of caring friends
