Respectfully, we honor the legacy of life of Ms. Geneva George of North Charleston, South Carolina.
Mrs. Geneva G. George was born October 13, 1941 in Bamberg County, South Carolina; to the parentage of George Goodwin and Lottie Mae Williams. She loved her mother and father as well as her beloved grandparents Cade and Ida Williams, whom she affectionally referred to as “Momma and Papa”. She was educated in the Bamberg County Schools. She became a member at Hickory Hill United Methodist Church at a young age. She became a Certified Nursing Assistant in New York City, New York where she worked diligently, and faithfully and with pride, as she was always trying to get something accomplish. She was united in Holy matrimony to the late Mr. Rudolph George and this union was blessed with one child. Geneva had a love for education, in which she instilled in her children.
Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband are siblings; Joe Lewis Robinson (Bubba), Freddie Robinson (Pete), Cary James Robinson (Dee Baby) Mamie Lee Goodwin (Bee Bee) Doris Eleanor Robinson Williams (Dot Baby).
She leaves to cherish her memories with: her children; John Horace Goodwin, Charleston, SC; Linda Goodwin Green, North Charleston, SC and Windy George Fields (David), Macon, Ga.: Grandchildren William C. Green Jr. (Lei) III (Shanghai, China); Brad Alan (Angie) Green, Goose Creek SC; Dewann Goodwin, Rachel Ann Marie Green, both of North Charleston, SC; and Jacouri Fields Macon, Ga: Three Great Grand Children: One brother in law Jesse Johns Jr. (Butch): two sisters in law Katherine Generette and Barbara Williams; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
