Mrs. Eunice (Green) Smalls

Respectfully, we honor the legacy of the life of Mrs. Eunice Green-Smalls. Mother Smalls, 93, was a resident of Yemassee, South Carolina.

 God, in His infinite wisdom, closed the eyelids of Mrs. Eunice Green Smalls on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2019 at the Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, SC and whispered, “Peace be Thine”. Mrs. Eunice Green Smalls was born on June 29, 1926 to the late Mr. Timothy Green & Mrs. Lelia Redding Green in Colleton County. Eunice attended the public schools in Colleton County where she developed a love for sewing. Mrs. Eunice accepted the Lord as her personal savior at an early age and joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church under the Leadership of Rev. Thomas Chisolm where she served on the Mother Board. Eunice was married into holy matrimony to the late Rev. Moses Smalls on June 6, 1943 and in this union two children were adopted. She was employed at a Sewing Factory for many years. She made many quilts for her family in which they treasure. Eunice was a loving and soft spoken woman of God. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years: Rev. Moses Smalls; two brothers: Mr. Shelia Green and Mr. James Green; two sisters: Mrs. Martha Pinckney and Minnie G. L. Brown and a son-in-law: Mr. Billie Richardson.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two children, Mrs. Mildred Richardson and Mr. Lloyd Cedric Smalls of Jonesville, SC., numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, great grandnieces and great grandnephews, brothers in-law, sisters in-law and a host of cousins and friends.
