The legendary Mrs. Elizabeth Deal Williams was born to the late Elix and Pauline Deal on April 12, 1947, in Colleton County. Elizabeth entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at her home. She attended public schools of Colleton County where she graduated from Colleton County High School in 1965. She worked at Woolworth, Texaco, drove a school bus, Subway,and Bonnie Doone until she retired. Elizabeth was a member of St. John Baptist Church where she served as a faithful member. She joined in holy matrimony to Franklin Williams, III, and to this union four children were born.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Franklin Williams, Senior; her parents, Alec and Pauline Deal; her brother at a young age, Elik Deal, Junior; two sons, Tyrone and Alexander Williams; and a special niece, Myra Deal. She leaves to cherish her memories her companion of 34 years, Thomas Chaplin; her children, Franklin Williams, II (Sabrina), Timothy Williams (Sheena), both of Walterboro, South Carolina; three sisters, Melvina Hampelton of Cottageville, South Carolina; Mary Evans of Hendersonville, South Carolina; Linda Deal of Summerville, South Carolina; special sister, Joanne Jenkins; a special friend, Phyllis Simmons; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grands; a godchild, Everett Middleton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other
relatives, and friends.
