Mr. Moses Warren Obituary

“A Testament of Life”
Mr. Moses Lee Warren, the son of the late Christopher and Willie Mae Warren, was born March 2, 1947 in Walterboro, SC. After being educated in the school system of Savannah, GA; Moses enlisted with the United States Army. After receiving the Purple Heart award from his service in the Vietnam War, Moses was honorable discharged with almost ten years of service.
Upon his return home, he furthered his studies and received a degree in culinary arts; it would be then that he began working as a chef for the Marriott Hotel and other places. Affectionately called “Cheetah” by all his family and friends, he was a lovable person. On Monday, December 31, 2018, “Cheetah” entered eternal rest at his residence in Columbia, SC. His life was well lived, and he shall be forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.

Preceding him in death along with his parents are brothers, Jesse, Bobby, Glen, Howard, and Sammy Warren; and sisters, Rebecca, Dora Lee, Rose.
Left on this side to embrace his testament of life are: daughters, Lawanza Warren of Atlanta, GA, Yvonne & Sheila Warren both of Chicago, IL; and Kenya (Brad) Talbert, P.A. of Florence, SC; one granddaughter, Mila Talbert of Florence, SC; a sister, Ann Doyle; one sister in law, Beverly Ann Warren of Charleston, SC; brother in law, Charles Doyle of Charleston, SC; two cousins whom he loved as sisters, Sarah Russell and Darlene Middleton; along with a host of numerous other relatives and friends. Special recognition and appreciation to the Hospice Care of the Tri-County and his nurse, Diane, for the amazing care and love shown to him.
