Mr. Johnnie Ray Holmes affectionately known as “Moon” was born on September 26, 1960 in Walterboro, SC to the late Mary June Salley and Johnnie Green. He leaves to cherish his fond memories; one son Devon Miller;  one brother, Phillip Holmes (Lynda);cousins who were like his brothers, Thomas Hampleton, Jr., Ted Hampleton (Kim), Stephen Hampleton (Monica), McTeer Hampleton (Maxine), and Mark Hampleton (Shirley); cousins who were like his sisters, Thomasina Williams, Barbara Hampleton, Shirley Gantt, Carolyn Hampleton, and Jacqueline Hampleton; one Aunt, Pearl Holmes, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
